The Second Kiss on Your Wedding Day

IMG-233.jpg

If you’re a bride envisioning her wedding day, you are probably picturing your first kiss together as husband and wife. It’s such a beautiful moment to capture, and it’s already one that’s standard for me, as I help capture the story of your wedding day. Today, though, I’d like to share some thoughts with you on the Second Kiss.

Here are a few things I love about the Second Kiss:

It allows me the chance to capture a shared kiss at your ceremony from a different perspective. Usually, the first kiss image features a bride, groom, and an officiant. A Second Kiss allows me to capture a shared ceremony kiss from a different perspective. I love how you can see Brad and Becki’s guests cheering them on in the image above.

Jason and Kirstin’s second kiss at the top of this post shows some of the setting of their wedding day on the water. Their venue had them walking up stairs when exiting the ceremony but in the distance you can still see their guests and her bridesmaids in the background.
