Dominique's 30th Birthday | Plum Durham

Your 30th birthday is definitely a milestone worth celebrating. And if you’re looking for the perfect space to host your intimate birthday celebration, baby shower, or just getting a group together with good food, Plum Durham is the perfect restaurant for your event.

The party planning was mostly managed by her sister Anjelica who enlisted the help of Traveler’s. Carrying Dominique’s nephew was certainly enough to keeps Anjelica’s hands full, and Adrianne from Traveler’s did an excellent job of organizing a great vendor team for this evening. For her 30th birthday, Dominique invited 30 of her friends from college who have been integral parts of her life. The evening kicked off with a cocktail hour of drinks and hors d’oeuvres while the guests were arriving.

Then, Dominique made her entrance. She didn’t know her parents were flying in to celebrate with her, so she was greeted with a surprise hug from her mom. Little did they know, they both chose sequins for this special occasion.

Once group photos were finished, everyone found their seats for dinner. The owner of the restaurant — Lisa Callaghan herself — even came to help serve entrees for the family-style meal.

After dinner, dessert was served. Dominique’s sister and father gave toasts. And Dominique led the group in tequila shots before boarding the party bus for the evening.
