Five Years, Nine Months with Autumn Noemi

I definitely don’t share enough about what Autumn is up to and how she’s doing, so I’m grateful for the people who have asked about her. Autumn is still soaking up information like a sponge, so Brandon and I have to remind each other to be careful what we say in mixed company. 🤣

She hasn’t demonstrated any kind of jealousy of the babies, and is still really excited to see them. She will do whatever it takes to make them laugh and smile. So much so that we often have to remind her she’s being too loud or too rough with them. She’s still learning, and they love her to pieces.

This month, she had a Letterland parade and decided to dress up as the Lucy Lamp Light (the letter L) character. I helped her pull her costume together and woke up to this sweet handwritten note on the morning of the parade. Of course, I had to take her outside before school for a mini photoshoot. This is what I get when I let her pick the pose.

Autumn is counting down the days til the end of kindergarten. Her school doesn’t have a graduation, which was a little disappointing, but I may grab a cap and gown and do a little photoshoot with her on our own next month. So stay tuned for that! Here’s the character she was going for in these pictures. How do you think she did?
