Headshots and Water Guns - Raleigh Photographer

Chris first contacted me about headshots because his work badge was in dire need of an upgrade. In the wake of the work-from-home-era, he had been using a selfie taken on his cell phone and he had been accustomed to avoiding showing it to people. He told me that he was graduating from a training program at work and saw it as the perfect time to level up his headshots and update his work badge.

After our first phone conversation, I learned that Chris didn’t have any recent pictures of him and his boys together. So we added on some daddy and me photos…with a twist. Since his 6- and 7-year old sons were out of school, we decided to take some time to capture some summer fun. The twist is that we added water guns! ;) After a quick change, we gathered the boys, loaded up pitchers of water, and headed to the park down the street from their home.

The water war got pretty intense as you can se from the expression on Riker’s face.

But after the water ran out, all was forgiven and the boys had fun on the playground. Making summertime memories doesn’t have to be complicated.

After watching Luke dominate the monkey bars, Riker was determined to try to do it on his own without help.

Updating family portraits doesn’t have to be boring. Capturing your family having fun and making memories will mean so much more in the years to come.

Chris had this to say about his session:
